We are recruiting project proposals for undergraduates to undertake an 8-week internship in one of the CPB labs this summer. 3 studentships of £3000 will be available, to cover subsistence costs.
To submit your project please email Maria Bargués-Ribera (admin@physbiol.cam.ac.uk) with the following information:
1) Project title
2) Title, name, department, and email address of project supervisor
3) Contact details of the co-supervisor. All projects need to have a co-supervisor, ideally in a different department from the supervisor.
4) Project Description (max 500 words)
5) Short summary (max 80 words) along with key aims/tasks of the project
6) Specific details for your project, as applicable. This could include, for example:
* essential knowledge, skills and attributes that would be advantageous.
* duration (from 6 to 8 weeks maximum)
7) Links to relevant supporting information (optional)
Deadline to submit projects is 14th February 2026.
Note on process: We will inform the supervisors of the chosen projects by 13th February, and help to advertise the projects through the CPB mailing list and CPB website. Projects will also be posted on the UROP website. Students will then be invited to apply with a 20th March deadline in first instance. Supervisors will be responsible to choose their student.
