Overview
The Cambridge Centre for Physical Biology is happy to announce a logo competition. The logo will help promote the visibility of multi-disciplinary approaches to Biology in Cambridge, as well as develop a sense of identity - please send us your ideas! It will be used on the CPB website and social media, in official correspondence, presentation templates and so on.
Eligibility
1 - The competition is open to all University members.
2 - Participants are permitted to work in groups; however, only one prize will be awarded regardless of group size.
Submission Guidelines
1 - The competition closes at 11.59 pm on March 15, 2020. All submissions will be evaluated by the CPB Operations Team and announced publicly. In the event that we do not adopt any of the suggested logos we will re-advertise the competition.
2 - All entries must be submitted electronically to Margarida Rodrigues and include the name(s) of the person(s) who designed the logo, email address (CRSID) and affiliation(s).
3 - One or more submissions per person is acceptable but each submission must be sent in a separate email.
4 - Entries can be submitted as JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, EPS or Ai files .
For quality reproduction purposes, the winning entry must later be submitted in scalable vector graphic format (eg. Pdf, eps) in both CMYK and RGB. The logo must be easy to use, handle, resize, and manipulate for all reproduction purposes. It should be visually appealing on both small (as small as 2 cm x 2 cm) and large scales.
